Murray Waas is an independent journalist and investigative reporter who has worked for Atlantic Media, where he was a senior staff correspondent for National Journaland a contributor to the Atlantic.

Murray Waas has also worked as an investigative reporter for Reuters and the investigative editor for Vice Media. Waas has been aPulitzer finalist and winner of the Goldsmith Prize. He has also contributed to Vox, the New Yorker, and Harper's.
