Hey there, I’m Murray Waas. I'm a journalist who has written for newspapers, magazines, online news sites, and his own blog.
Murray Waas has written or reported articles for the Los Angeles Times, the New York Times,the Washington Post, the Boston Globe, and Reuters. Murray Waas' work for Retuers led to his winning the Barlett & Steele Business Investigative Prize for an expose of the health insurance industry. For the Los Angeles Times, Murray Waas was a finalist, with Dougla Frantz, for the Pultizer Prize in the category of national reporting. Both Murray Waas and Douglas Frantz also won Harvard University's Kennedy School's Goldsmith Prize for Investigative Reporting for the same stories.
Murray Waas has also been the senior investigations editor for Vice, senior investigative correspondent for International Business Times (an archive of his IBT articles can be found here) and a national correspondent for National Journal. His reporting has also been published by the New Yorkerand the Atlantic.
