Murray Waas has worked as the investigations editor for Vice. He has also worked for Retuers as an investigative correspondent, for National Journaland the Atlantic as a political writer, and, earlier in his career, a staff writer for the Village Voice.

For his reporting for the Los Angeles Times, Murray Waas has been a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in the category of national reporting.
