Mustapha Olalekan LAWAL, a visionary global citizen, is currently in his final year as an undergraduate at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria.

He is an advocate for the SDGs, (with specific interest in goal 3, 4 & 16, good health and wellness, quality education and peace, justice and strong institutions respectively). He is a young changemaker who is passionate about ensuring quality, inclusive and equitable education, good health and wellness enhancement, promoting peace, prevention of injustice and development of stronger institutions in the country. He is also an advocate for good data system in various sectors in Nigeria. He has keen interest in ensuring young people are equipped with the needed skills for full participation in the society.

He is the director of program at iFuture, an initiative aimed at promoting quality, inclusive and equitable education to students through the acquisition of relevant skills which will be needed for the Maximum participation of these individuals in the society. He is a SDGs Campus Ambassador at Brain builders youth development initiative. He also serves as student mentor for junior colleagues at Dareword students association (DSA). He is also the welfare Secretary at Inter faith anti-corruption club (INAC)Unilorin branch, a MacArthur foundation that seek to objectively measure corruption, ensure transparency within various organizations and train new leaders to develop ideologies for transformation.

Mustapha writes to condemn the wrongs and commend the rights of the society. He writes opinionated articles, poems and research papers. As a student, he has been a top performer in his academics and he has also served at various extracurricular platforms through volunteering, civics, quiz, and sports. He has participated in several volunteering activities in and outside the walls of the school.

He is known to having deep interest in learning. He has a solid zeal for young people capacity building in education, citizenship, leadership, digital and employability skills. He loves making impact wherever he finds himself, making people happy and always wanting to help others attain success and excellence.

He loves travelling, connecting with great people and exploring local and global opportunities.
