Mutisya Leonard

With a background in human rights advocacy with refugee and LGBTI populations, organization development consulting and HIV prevention and treatment management, Mutisya is Co-Founder and Deputy Director of the Kenya Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission, a foremost legal and political advocate for LGBTI individuals in Kenya . He is also the immediate former Program Coordinator of KIPE (2011-2013): a leading sexual and mental health service provider for gay/bisexual men in Western Kenya.

When he is not in social justice activism and healthcare programming, he is a scholar in Psychology and Sociology, a keen traveler, cook and foodie, and an avid art creater and art follower, shopping for, consuming, making and sharing photography and writing.
