"I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference." - Robert Frost
All of this wasn't even part of the plan to be honest. We'll never really know unless we try. Destiny, such is life. Starting music at the age of 13, it really connected me to lots of paths, opportunities, connections and experiences. The guitar was really the focal instrument that connected me. Taking it up as my degree at the University of Santo Tomas, it was one heck of a ride. It made me realize that music in itself isn't superficial.
The journey was tough during the first 2 years in the Conservatory. It all felt like i was forced to do it because of i needed it for grades. to hit a deadline or my professor/teacher told me to. But it all changed because of passion and purpose. That one certain piece motivated me to continue and pursue the dream and here we are now.
During the day i study and attend class, but at night i watch or play at gigs.
What i really love about the local music scene is the intimacy and camaraderie established among other musicians which i would also like to share. Music for me is the means to express personal affirmation and creativity.
I am a trained Classical guitarist that was part of a former band but i am available for some small-time session work. I am also planning to post my own content through Youtube and Facebook to cater to other fellow guitarists and even musicians.
Passion and Interest is what keeps the fire going. It is also what i want to instill in other people as well.
