Michael W. Bell (otherwise known as Mike) was born in South East London but moved to Brighton during his early teens where he spent most of his time collecting music, watching movies and performing rhythm guitar in a local metal band.
He later studied studied Music Production and Composition for Professional Media at the University of Brighton where he found a passion for working sonically within the visual arts. Now based in London, Mike works as a film music composer, ambient sound designer and post production engineer at his film music production company, Aurora Eclipse Productions.
Mike has composed music and designed sound for short films, trailers, documentaries, animations and idents, in addition to working with bands and writing music for smart-phone application.
His music has been described as dark, haunting, experimental, dramatic, atmospheric, orchestral, minimalist, cinematic and textural.
