I grew up an Air Force brat living all over the US. Where I really consider my memorable life beginning is in Rome, NY at Rome Free Academy in 1990. Had my father not had an affair while we lived in Rome, I would've graduated from RFA - the HS that I to this day I consider the best school I ever attended. Instead I was forced to graduate from and spend a semester at (I graduated early in Dec of '92) Brussels Academy in Belgium. It was a DOD school and god forbid the military be allowed to run a school!

Rome Free Academy was AMAZING! A few years back they rebuilt the school and I was flabbergasted. No more buckets lining the halls to catch rain, or floating tiles in the pool... the new school is beyond amazing. Despite the awful state of the physical building when I went to RFA the awesome teachers, amazing students, and incredible classes made up for it all. I took an amazing number of AP classes which I received credit for, and thanks to RFA's 8 classes a day I could've completely skipped my senior year at the HS in Belgium if I hadn't have been lacking a semester of health.

Someday I'll get back to Rome to visit everyone there... and if anyone happens to have yearbooks from '91 and '92 I would *love* to get a photocopy. Oh - and if anyone has a video of the talent show in '92 where I MC'd & wore a completely see-thru black lace outfit and was 'Magenta' from Rocky Horror Picture show... well, I'd pay money to get a copy of that :-)

I got my Bachelors in Science from University of Michigan. A great school that I enjoyed. I had my daughter my sophomore year of college and didn't even miss a semester of school - got slightly lower grades that semester, but that was about all.

I worked from 1999 to 2014 as pr••••••••imarily a SDET, with a few years as a computer programmer in C/Perl/SQL. In 2014 I took a year off to get my MS in IT Security & Assurance.

After working on my Masters in IT Security & Assurance until April of 2015, I took a job in Feb 2015 as a QA Engineer. This position was the impetus I needed to finally shift my career and life towards something that will not only fulfill myself, but will help others as well. Due to health problems, I had to quit working temporarily.

I'm especially interested in ventures which are working to solve Seattle's homeless issue. My extra time is spent volunteering, writing both fiction & non-fiction, and designing my future tiny home that I plan on building with
