Manuela Wemegah

I am currently a second year student pursuing a degree in Occupational Health and Safety at Ryerson University.

I seek reprieve in leadership roles at my local church as a Sunday school teacher and a youth leader. In these areas, my strengths in public speaking, organization and leadership are primarily used.

I try to eloquently string simple words together to create interesting messages and meaningful conversations. In addition, I am meticulous in my affairs and understand the importance of seeing the big picture and creating personal and career visions of where I hope to see my life in the future. Finally, I have come to an awareness that being a successful leader means optimizing on the availability of individuals (ie time) and providing them with information that they find personally rewarding which in turn creates a sense of unity within the group and causes a catalysis as they work towards a common goal.

Hard work, optimism and perseverance are the foundation of my operating principles; I constantly look for opportunities that reinforce my strengths as a hard worker and enable me to have a positive attitude but challenge and motivate me to build skills that I have not yet mastered.
