I am a consultant, small business owner, and director currently living in San Mateo, California. My interests range from entrepreneurship to innovation. I am also interested in volunteering, dogs, and outdoors.

I am a career health care professional focused on advancing informed, timely, participative, evidence-based patient care for all patients. I started my career as a certified home health care aide while in high school and received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hendrix College. I have experience in outcomes assessment validation, clinical practice guideline development and implementation, adolescent mental health, epidemiologic outbreak surveillance, and pediatric asthma treatment. I have also worked in drug development in the multi-site contract research organization setting, the emergency, inpatient, and community outpatient practice settings. During my research career I had thousands of interactions with patients and their families and published and presented several research publications. I earned a Master of Public Health with a specialty in Health Policy and Management from the University of California, Berkeley. Since graduate school, I have focused on internal team leadership, consulting, options development, risk management, and presentation delivery and development to executives.
