I am a writer with a day job or two – when I am not writing I am mainly managing my online writing school (writingclasses.co.uk). Food of Ghosts is my new crime novel (due out on Nov 8th 2012). It is the first in a series of crime novels set in the Pacific, featuring the feisty fictional detective DS Louisa Townsend from Edinburgh. My first novel is The Blue Suitcase. The Blue Suitcase was published in 2010 to great acclaim and is an historic fiction, partly based on a true-life story, which tells the remarkable account of a teenage girl growing up in Nazi Germany.
