I was born in Poland.

I work as a ESL teacher and trainer.

I live in a tiniest Parisian apartment with a thousand sharp edges, situated on a sixth floor of a 'no- lift' building.

So I'm a girl who feels lost in translation.

Cinema is not my job. Cinema is not even the only passion I have. It's a deep breath at the end of the heavy work day. It's a therapy when I feel homesick. It's a conversation starter, a life enrichment, a biological clock terrorist.

Welcome to my blog! Have a look, read, watch trailers and talk. A film should be the start of a conversation. It should be an ice- breaker and a bonding machine. So let's bond over cinema.

And, why European cinema? Because of my origins. Because of its lack of popularity amongst regular movie viewers. And because it creates such a great alternative to American blockbusters.
