Rocio Bueno

My name is Rocio Bueno I was born in Dominican Republic. My mom is a dress maker and my father was a mechanic and a blacksmith. I often went with my father to see him drawing iron work to get some designs ideas. My mother has been a dress maker for more than 40 years. I grow up between parents that in their own form make creative work.

Since I was a child I love the nature and I enjoy all related to that. I usually am a helpful person. I always analyze the benefits or consequences to any decision that I decide to take. I can express so easy how I feel. I love animals specially domestics. Also, when I observe their conduct and behavior I have better opportunity to communicate with them.

As a child, I was curious and scrutinized on everything, and decoded symbols. Since I was a child I like to draw. I remember when I was nine years old a friend of mine ask if I could draw for her three faces because she need to make an exposition about Aristotle’s, Socrates y Plato. I remember how I took measures to make them the most perfect as possible. From that work I only have memories because this draw had lost.

I love painting and express myself through symbolic art’s representation. When I am working or I am doing something, I immersed myself into that. My legacy to humanity is to have humility, love and dedication in everything we choose to do. Recognize our mistakes and be able to fix them.
