I am utterly devoted to my family and friends and my hair. My Natural Hair Journey started in January of 2011 and it has been a true learning process. I had an "Ah-Ha!" moment when I stood in my bathroom mirror and cut off my hair. I felt empowered! Through trial and error (and another match-up with my scissors) I've learned how to care for and nourish my coils. I have embraced My Natural Self. I am dedicated to helping other African American Women do the same.
