Fernando Cruz

My name is Fernando Cruz; “Fred” is my nickname. When I was a kid I used my Step-Dad's last name Stubbs. So, I've gone from Fernando Stubbs to Fred Cruz!! Figure that out! I’ve been with Chevrolet for almost 20 years. I absolutely love my job! It’s fun, exciting, and I get to meet people from all walks of life. I have Two Amazing kids.... Tyler is 16 (Varsity Wrestler) and Kylee is 15 (Resident Rock Star Diva) I’m married to my best friend and the greatest mom I know. I chose correctly! She’s a mom, a wife, a full-time college student, a soccer coach, and on top of all that she has a great career in the Technology Industry! I have no idea how she does it all. That's probably why I've been married to her for so many years! PLUS, She's Smokin' Hot!! I am one luckly guy! As for me, I’ve been playing trombone professionally for years. I’ve played all over So Cal. and I’ve been in televised parades, commercials, and even a movie. I’ve been blessed to have been able to meet and play with some World Class musicians over the years. My favorite music to play is Big Band Swing and 70’s funk, but of course I'm a sellout and will play ANYTHING! I hold a Black Belt in Shaolin Kempo Karate. I also help teach martial arts at Martial Arts Training Alliance in Long Beach. My style of martial arts has been practiced by the Shaolin Monks in China since 520 A.D. I spend most of my free time away from work practicing and teaching my art.
