MyCity SOCIAL started as an online guide, digital software, and print magazine in 2008 in Orlando, FL. During its startup period, we worked with small business owners helping them build their business with print media, software, and our online guide. It was during this time where we spent over 10 years perfecting the perfect marketing packages geared to the small business owner. The local attorney, the small pizzeria, and the local A/C repair guy were the building blocks of the marketing packages we share today. Through trial and error and with our experienced team, we were able to figure out what exactly a small business needed for success in marketing.

In 2014 a Guatemalan restaurant in Miami asked one of the owners at MyCity SOCIAL to do all the work using our self-serve marketing software. Instead of the restaurant doing the work themselves, they asked MyCity SOCIAL to do it. It was from this one interaction that eventually led to an exclusive digital marketing product. In 2015, MyCity SOCIAL transitioned to exclusively digital marketing!

During this period MyCity SOCIAL transitioned from all major local markets in Florida to cover the entire state of Florida. At the beginning of 2020 MyCity SOCIAL was poised for national growth and successfully completed its franchise offering. It wasn’t until March 2020 when the Carona Virus struck and really expedited the process of how small businesses operated digitally. It was during this time where MyCity SOCIAL expanded nationally from Keywest to Seattle, Washington.
