When I began my career in 2013 with a start-up company, I acted as their HR and Administration manager working directly with the top executives where I was trained to see the bigger picture of company management. Through this role, I fully understood the function of an HR in increasing profit for the company by decreasing its expenses whether through finding quality suppliers, increasing the ROI of onboarded employees through employee engagement, balancing compensation package and benefits, or simply properly managing all the company resources.

As I move to an HR Specialist role, I was heavily involved on the administrative side as a champion resource for the new hires' payroll account opening, submission of requirements, and processing of benefits.

I was able to really practice my knowledge transfer skills when I worked as a trainer in 2016 travelling all across the Philippines to conduct product, sales, and technical training to newly recruited insurance agents as well as soft skills training to the employees.

I further improved my training skills as I became an HR Generalist in late 2017 facilitating new hire orientations and onboarding activities, including walkthroughs on the use of our HRIS tool, SAP SuccessFactors.

After 2 and a half years, I took on a new role within the same organization as an HR Analyst. I am currently heavily focused on reporting, analytics, and process improvements as well as providing first-level assistance on project management under our country HR Director.

My combined experiences in all facets of HR gave me a chance to see and appreciate different perspectives of employee management. I believe this allows me to be effective in my current role as an HR Analyst by being able to understand the relationship of each department, and how can I help grow the organization's business by providing valuable data-driven information initiating an improvement of the internal processes and activities.
