Mykel Stevens thrived as a nightlife entrepreneur for over 25yrs. Mykel started his career as a nightclub & live music promoter in Philadelphia & New York City in the early 90’s. He’s opened, owned and marketed several restaurants, bars, nightclubs in Los Angeles and Miami.

In Miami, he’s known for creating Back Door Bamby, miami’s (decadent & debauchery) longest running party.

Mykel Stevens and partner Carmel Ophir brought international Dj’s throughout the 90’s and 2000’s to Miami like Frankie Knuckles, Little Louie Vega, David Morales, Sasha, John Digweed, Danny Tenaglia, Josh Wink, Erick Morillo and Lee Burridge.

Between 2010 - 2019 Mykel moved to Los Angeles and partnered with best friend AK Sands. They acquired and or Startup the following companies over the next 9yrs:

OnLoop, LLC - Founder/CMO

Brand Pacific, LLC - Founder/CMO

Barkstrong, LLC - Founder/CMO

⁃ Precise Pet Foods

⁃ Wild Calling Pet Food

In 2014 Mykel took a break from his Calabasas lifestyle to come back to South Florida. He created and opened the first speakeasy-style craft cocktail bar in Ft Lauderdale - Stache 1920’s Drinking Den. He partnered with longtime friend, world renowned mixologist John Lermayer to curate his cocktail menu and train the all-new bar staff to become mixologist.

Charles William Stache Jr. (Fictional Character) was the inspiration behind his Prohibition-era theme, the entrance to Stache is hidden behind a little trickeration: The door is under an awning marked "Himmie Health Club" and Chinese lettering (Come early, Happy endings). But once inside — the 1920s-style drinking den — it was quickly apparent how straightforward Stache is about its booze.

Now Mykel is working on a new project, Omni Village Garden & Marketplace. Early this year he signed a lease to a 55k sq/ft property in The Arts & Entertainment District.

Omni Village Garden & Marketplace is a mixed-use, eco-friendly, redevelopment project with 75% urban open space.

It will operate 7 days a week as a Botanical Garden, Nursery, Putting Green and Weekend Market.

Omni Village Garden & Marketplace will also be a foodie destination hosting some of miami’s favorite restaurants.

He plans to open Oct, 2021.
