Mylinda McDaniel

Mylinda McDaniel worked as a research assistant for the American Action Forum’s Director of Education since August. She has also spent the past six years working at West Virginia University in positions such as academic advisor, course instructor, and assistant debate coach giving her a unique perspective into both the collegiate experience and policy advocacy. She has experience in a number of policy areas including education, national security, and foreign policy. In 2006 she received her bachelor’s degree in history and political science from the University of Oregon. In 2008 she earned her master’s degree from West Virginia University in political science with an emphasis in international relations and security and is currently in the process of writing her doctoral dissertation.
