Myo Lai

I am a hair stylist and wig stylist currently living in Rosemead, California. I was born and raised in Burma, also known as Myanmar; moving to the States in 2001. After high school graduation, I decided to continue my education at Pasadena City College in child development. At the beginning, it was tough; my artistic side kept me focus. I started going into drawing classes, and found that passion and desire to reimagined beauty. After several suggestions by classmates and staff, I pursue into Cosmetology. I excelled above all my peers which gave me an opportunity to showcase my talents in the Junior Style Star National Hair Competition. I did come on top of over 270 contestants. After that, my world changed, I had career-changing experience, working on film features, attending major industry events, and instructing newcomer hairstylists across the U.S. to keep an eye on what's trending and to challenge themselves every day. My main objective is to be The Hairstylist; somebody renowned, unique and talented, and keep my job ethics up high to deliver exceptional work.
