Mz. Crystal began in the beauty industry as a braider for over 12 years now. She began braiding in Seattle, WA and quickly joined the world of Extensions. “I was the best kitchen beautician in my family” she says. Learning how to braid became natural because she learned from WATCHING her mom braid the hair of men, women, children, black, white and alike. She was introduced to weave caps from her older sister. From then on her goal was to perfect her craft and be the best. It wasn’t until years later that she moved to Florida and was unable to legally work because Florida law required a braiders license to work in a salon. By this time braiding had taken a toll and she wanted to add to her years of knowledge. In 2013, she obtained her cosmetology license in the state of Florida which included an Esthetics license (2014) and Nail technician experience. She always wanted to make the inner person shine through any situation so she decided to double up her learning and enrolled in the Advanced Makeup program which included airbrush, special fx and permanent makeup. I always wanted to teach people and give all I could to people. A smile was wortth millions to me. My goal is to assist in helping stylists improve or become greater in this industry. -Mz. Crystal💋
