Miguel Angel Zapatero

I'm an Account Manager in Hubspot, where I manage the relationship with our Startup customers all over EMEA (Hubspot for Startups). In Hubspot we are spreading the Inbound Marketing word all across the world, and I'm responsible to ensure this is the case in the European startup community.

Before Hubspot, I was part of the first ever Linkedin Business Leadership Program in EMEA, where I joined 10 graduates from all EMEA for a rotational program. There, after six months in Recruitment and Enterprise Support, I became an Enterprise Talent Consultant for Iberia, where I helped big companies in this region to attract and retain top talent. Since I started, I topped the leaderboards with sales results over 180% in Q1 and Q2, 200% in Q3 and 150% in Q4 (even though I only worked 6 weeks in this quarter).

Besides my full time role in Hubspot, I'm also involved in the growth and development of Eyetok, an app to see the world together, live! My role here is to identify and reach out to investors, grow our user base through Social Media engagement, and brainstorm with the founders on how to reach our growth targets. Finally, one of my passions is gaming (and eSports), an industry where I´d love to work at one day.

As you can see, even though I was born is a small city like Palencia, in the North of Spain, now my goal is the entire world. Through this incredible journey I expect to transform myself and, as much as I can, transform the world. No matter what I do or where I go, I challenge myself to be the best.
