With a Doctor of Ministry from Pacific School of Religion and a Master of Science in Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health from King's College London, Matt Zemon serves an entheogenic faith community and has spent years documenting best practices for risk-reduced, sacred ceremony.

The author of five books on psychedelics, faith, and mental health, Matt's work is grounded in the conviction that personal healing contributes to collective healing. He approaches direct spiritual experience as a substantial subject worthy of diligent study, religious tradition, and constitutional protection.

Rather than promoting psychedelics as shortcuts or cures, he writes from the perspective of a fellow traveler: "I am not telling anyone to believe in light. I am helping them remember they are a candle.”
