I am a 16 year old student at the Watkinson School. Math and science have always been my favorite subjects. I hope to go into environmental science and aerospace engineering. I lead a science bowl club I created at my school to get people excited about science and math. I am very interested in our planet and ways we can conserve resources and benefit the health of our planet. I was part of a small team of students who met with our school district’s leaders and local photovoltaic experts to get solar panels installed at my middle school. I want to use my interests in engineering and the environment to make environmentally friendly technology and engineer more effective ways to clean our environment. I also love reading and writing poetry. I have performed my poems at school and poetry events. I even won the title of Iron Poet champion from Trinity College.
