Wooden teether
Teething is a milestone for a baby to have pearly white milk teeth surfacing by distressing the gum to sore. The gum is not spare during the cutting of teeth, in the same vein, the baby also feels the discomfort. How do you feel when your baby is in pain? You want to do something to take away the pain or at least provide some ease. So, likewise, a parent has a fair share. Writing about teething isn’t because I am about to cut again (not after having 32 teeth will I be crying for 20). But to give more grace to the newborn for relieving their pain, crankiness, and drooling and therefore antidoting parents’ fears.
During my days, when I was a kid my mother alleviate the pain by putting her clean fingers in my mouth than to allow me to crave it by sticking my ten digits in my mouth. Sweet mother indeed. However, the inadequacies are that: mother hands are too busy to be available all day, and cleanliness of it at all times can’t be ascertained. This is my mission to introduce you to a new shelf in town - a wooden teether. The wooden teether is the new wine (teething toy) perfect for the new wineskin (our era).
Apart from this, many parent choose wooden teether over others because it’s anti-bacterial and anti-microbial and does not house dust like silicone teether, its counterpart. Unlike silicone teether, it’s not tidied up using warm soapy water or by dishwashing but the debris, if any is scraped away with fine grip sandpaper. What more, this teether can be oiled with essential therapeutic grade oil that soothes the sore gums making it unparalleled natural teething solution.
