About Me

As a passionate educator and curriculum developer, I bring over 20 years of experience designing and delivering engaging, learner-centered instruction across diverse educational contexts. With a Bachelor of Education, I combine formal pedagogical training with intuition to meet the diverse needs of learners. I am deeply committed to the craft of teaching and the transformative power of education. My approach is guided by pedagogical best practices, Universal Design for Learning principles, and a strong belief that education should be responsive, inclusive, and practical.

Whether developing English for Academic or other programming, I strive to ensure lessons are rigorous, relevant, and rooted in real-world application. I have led curriculum initiatives across a wide spectrum—from designing English for Academic and Professional Purposes to supporting language learners in the K–12 education system, creating customized programming that bridges academic goals with learner needs.

I particularly enjoy collaborating with subject matter experts and colleagues to ensure content is accurate, accessible, and aligned with student outcomes. My years of experience working with language learners—many of whom are newcomers— have sharpened my ability to build rapport, scaffold complex concepts, hone my intercultural communication skills, and develop resources that are both adaptable and impactful. Through every lesson, resource, or curriculum I create, my aim remains the same: to make learning meaningful, empowering, and enduring
