I am an outdoor enthusiast, I spend most of my time either fishing or hunting. I grew up in Western Washington and if I wasn't floating any of the local rivers in a drift boat I was in the backcountry chasing around deer, elk, or bear. After high school I moved to Idaho to keep pursuing my outdoor obsession and go to college I guess. I graduated college in 2014 with a degree in Electrical Engineering and now I work full-time in Eastern Washington.

I would say I am a gear guru and I am a bit obsessed to put it lightly. I pride myself in lightweight back-pack hunting and I spend countless hours perfectly the art. I usually spend September archery hunting for deer and elk. I primarily focus my efforts in Washington and Idaho but hopefully in the next years I will be able to hunt some new states. My dream hunt would be to go to BC or Alaska to hunt sheep, I guess I better start saving up $$$.

As far as fishing goes my heart lies in Western Washington, its hard to beat some of the scenery and fisheries over on the "Wet Side." But since I have been living in some new areas I have been exploring and learning how to fly fish.

I also spend alot of time training so I can perform at my best during hunting season. I participate in triathlons and mountain biking competitions in the spring and summer for this purpose. I feel this is very important for my style of hunting.

Recently I was invited to represent Montana Wild and I am greatly honored. They do some awesome work and they share my passion for anything and everything that the outdoors offers. Check them out! My next goal is to share my outdoor experiences with pictures, videos, blogging, and articles. Hopefully you enjoy! --Nick
