I didn't have a sense of direction up until college. Graduating from University of Illinois was nice and all but meeting two specific individuals while attending really set the path for my career and vision. I befriended a songwriter and producer who were just interested in music but no certainties in pursuing it. The connection between us three was enough push for us to really express dreams and aspirations. We truly, genuinely gave 100% into learning and pursuing music. All our time, money, and work went into studio research, equipment, industry research, watching YouTube videos, barely passing our classes, and creating very amateur music, but the dream and direction was set in stone! That forever changed my life. Fortunately, Gowhere Hip Hop and Chicago Hip Hop Connects opened a lot of doors for me. I became directly involved with the music scene in Chicago by covering events, interviewing artists, attending releases, and just stayed in the know of things. But from day one, I knew that the goal was to become a part of a team that could create great music and were able to put it in the hands of artists. This leads me to where I am now. Living in beautiful Los Angeles, still creating and building relationships, but trying to build that incredible team. I want our people to be the talent behind an amazing product, especially a product that can reach millions of people worldwide.
