📍 About Me

I am Naasif Feroz, a passionate student from Kattankudy, Batticaloa, Sri Lanka, with a dream of becoming an astronaut. I’m currently pursuing my education with a strong focus on astronomy, space technology, and human physiology. I have also participated in many international events such as the International Astronomy and Astrophysics Competition (IAAC), International Youth Math Challenge (IYMC), and the International Mission to Mars Designing Competition

🛰️ Projects & Experience

KATSAT CubeSat Project

I am part of a student-led satellite initiative called KATSAT, where I collaborate with fellow students and engineers to design and develop a CubeSat. Our mission includes capturing space imagery, tracking the CubeSat’s location and altitude, analyzing weather conditions during its flight, and communicating with a ground station to transfer data and provide updates.

🌠 Astronomy Leadership

Founder – Centralite Astronomical Union

I founded the Centralite Astronomical Union, my school’s first astronomy club, with the aim of promoting space science awareness and encouraging fellow students to explore the universe.

🎥 Content Creation

I also produce educational content as a faceless YouTuber, blending creativity and technology to inspire a wider audience about space and science.

I’m deeply committed to inspiring others in Sri Lanka and beyond to reach for the stars and pursue their dreams in science and space.
