Nabil Dahrouj

With more than 20 years of experience as a medical doctor, Nabil Dahrouj, MD, specializes in pediatrics. He pursued numerous opportunities to enhance his education and refine his diagnostic and surgical skills throughout his career. Dr. Dahrouj currently practices in Clifton, New Jersey, where he is affiliated with the St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital, Hoboken University Hospital, and Meadowlands Hospital Medical Center. An expert surgeon as well as a knowledgeable and compassionate caregiver, Dr. Dahrouj strives to provide the best care possible for his young patients. The Consumer’s Research Council of America named him one of America’s Top Pediatricians in 2008 and 2010.

A graduate of the University of Damascus, where he earned his medical degree, Dr. Nabil Dahrouj worked for nearly 10 years in Syria. He completed residencies in surgery and pediatrics and served as a surgeon, general practitioner, and university lecturer. Dr. Dahrouj came to the United States in 2001 and merited one of the top scores in the nation on his United States Medical Licensing Examination. Having achieved test scores in the top 5% of all examinees, Dr. Dahrouj earned his Pediatrics Board Certification from the American Board of Pediatrics in 2005. He was then invited to become an attending doctor in pediatrics at St. Joseph Children’s Hospital in Paterson. Dr. Dahrouj also served as a team member at Riverside Pediatric Group, one of the largest pediatric specialty organizations in New Jersey.

Dr. Nabil Dahrouj is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Syrian Physicians Organization, and the Syrian Surgery Association. Dr. Dahrouj believes in preserving the environment for future generations and supports the World Wildlife Fund and the Sierra Club.
