Neil Acquatella

Who I Am

I'm Neil Acquatella, Executive Director of two companies: ACQUATELLA Ingenieria, Corp. (Miami, FL) and Técnica Fase, S.A. (Caracas, Venezuela).

I'm an Electrical Engineer working at the intersection of technical sales, key account management, and long-term manufacturer representation — primarily in the electrical and water utilities sectors, serving markets in Venezuela and the Caribbean.

A Legacy Built on Trust

Técnica Fase, S.A. was founded in 1980 by my father, Roberto Acquatella — also an Electrical Engineer — who spent decades building genuine, lasting relationships with manufacturers across America, Europe, and Asia. He understood early on that the representation business runs on trust: trust from the manufacturers you represent, and trust from the customers you serve.

That foundation is what I've inherited, and what I've worked to protect.

Expanding the Vision — Together

In 2013, my father and I co-founded ACQUATELLA Ingenieria, Corp. in Miami, FL — built on the same vision and mission as Técnica Fase, but designed to extend our reach. Miami's role as a regional economic hub for the Caribbean gave us a natural base to serve our core market in Venezuela while also developing opportunities across the Caribbean and other niche markets. It wasn't a departure from what Técnica Fase had built; it was a continuation of it, with a wider field of action.

Navigating a Difficult Market

Venezuela's economic and political deterioration created an environment where doing business carelessly — or at scale without scrutiny — became a serious liability. My response as Executive Director was deliberate: become more selective, not less committed.

Rather than chasing volume, I focused on protecting the relationships my father had built over decades. That meant evaluating which deals we could execute responsibly, maintaining our credibility with the manufacturers we represent, and preserving the integrity of both companies' names in the market. Miami provided the operational stability that allowed us to keep the business — and those relationships — alive.

What I Do

  • Key Account Management for manufacturers in electrical and water utilities (since 2010 at Técnica Fase; since 2013 at ACQUATELLA Ingenieria)
  • Market representation — protecting and expanding manufacturer positioning in Venezuela and the Caribbean
  • Sales, technical, and after-sales support — standing behind every deal, not just closing it
  • Identifying and qualifying opportunities in a market that requires careful judgment

How I Think About This Work

I approach representation with a builder's mindset and a long view. The manufacturers we work with aren't just product lines — they're relationships that took years to earn. My job is to make sure those relationships remain valuable on both sides: that manufacturers can trust us to represent them well, and that customers can trust us to deliver.

In a difficult market, that kind of consistency isn't just a value — it's a strategy.
