My name is Nadeem Masih. I am 31 years old. My village name is Chak No. 281 J.B Dawakhri District Toba Tek Singh, Pakistan. I belong to brick kiln workers family. We are 8 brothers and two sisters in my family. I am younger in my family. I started brick kiln work at bricks factory when I was 14 years old. My brothers were made bricks and during my study I went to bricks factory to gave them meal and stay with them and helped in the work. I did work at various bricks factories of District Toba Tek Singh, District Faisalabad (Layalpur) and District Sialkot, Pakistan.

In 1999, I was working on brick factory and also studying. Bricks factory owner asked why you are studying, you will not pass the exams of Metric (10th grade) because it’s not easy to do studying during work. During work I passed my metric exams in 2000. I also did three months computer diploma at evening classes in my village. During brick kiln work I also completed my level of Faculty of Arts (F.A) study in 2002.

In 2003, I came to Toba Tek Singh. I stayed with my Brother Latif Masih and worked at computer lab (Internet Cafe) from morning 8 to 11 pm and got salary 1000/PKR per month ($10). Which was very low to support my family at that time. I continued my study and got my B.A degree in 2007 and MSc in Pakistan Studies in 2012.

During this time I got first chance to go to Thailand in 2005 to attend student meeting. Throughout that time, I did jobs at national and international organizations in Pakistan at various posts and got trainings from abroad. With the prayers of my parents and hard work and also by the blessings of God I got many chances to visit and attend meetings in world. I am one of them in my Christian community of Toba Tek Singh who had been to five continents, Asia (Thailand, Bangladesh, India, Srilanka), Australia, Africa (Ghana), North America (Canada) and Europe (England) and this year on 11/05/2015 I got multiple entries visa for three years of Canada. Now I am married and blessed with beautiful wife Shakila and two sons Micah Nadeem and Sameed Nadeem.
