Nader Qaimari (born February 14, 1977) is an American business executive and education technology leader. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Edcetera, a portfolio of companies focused on adult and trade education across various verticals. Qaimari is known for scaling founder-led businesses, launching digital learning solutions, and leading global certification and professional development organizations.

Early life and education

Qaimari was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, and he currently resides in Chicago. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Literature and Creative Writing from Kenyon College, and later received an MBA from the University of Michigan.

Career

  • Edcetera

In January 2022, Qaimari was appointed CEO of PDH Academy, which was later rebranded as Edcetera. Backed by Eden Capital, Edcetera has expanded through strategic acquisitions and partnerships. Under Qaimari’s leadership, the company acquired Pulse Radiology, a provider of training for radiologic technologists, and formed partnerships with organizations such as InterNACHI via its ICA division.

  • ISACA

Prior to joining Edcetera, Qaimari served as Chief Learning Officer at ISACA, a global professional association operating in over 220 countries. He oversaw ISACA’s learning and certification offerings, digital publishing, and software products. During his tenure, ISACA launched new learning pathways and modernized its digital education platforms.

  • Follett School Solutions

From 2015 to 2018, Qaimari was Group President of Follett School Solutions, where he led K–12 initiatives and helped launch the company’s digital curriculum division.

  • Cengage

Earlier in his career, Qaimari served as Senior Vice President of Marketing at Cengage Learning. He played a key role in the development and launch of MindTap, the company’s flagship digital learning platform.

Personal life

Qaimari holds U.S. citizenship and resides in Chicago, Illinois. He is known for his leadership in education technology and interest in scalable digital learning models.
