Possessing decades of leadership experience, Nader “Nick” Shahiar makes investments ranging in size from $2 million to $15 million per year as president with Horizon Ventures, a firm operating out San Francisco, Bay area California. Before his work with Horizon, he served in several senior executive and management roles including G.M., Sr. VP and CEO for several technology companies such as Siemens, ADA Networks, Group Bull, Comtech and others.
Nick Nader Shahiar earned his bachelor of science in electrical engineering and his master of science in electrical and computer engineering, studying at such institutions as the University of California, San Diego, the University of Michigan, and San Diego State University. Nick Shahiar has also completed management programs and courses at Stanford University. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and sports.
