I am a Bachelor of Education student in the Senior and Further Education and Training (FET) phases at the University of Johannesburg. I specialise in Business Studies, Economic and Management Sciences (EMS), and Physical Education. I am currently a tutor at ThabaJabula Secondary School, where I assist learners who struggle with challenging topics, especially Financial Literacy in EMS.

I am a dedicated and passionate pre-service teacher who believes in creating a safe and supportive learning environment where learners are at the centre of the learning process. I am committed to making learning engaging, meaningful, and interesting for learners. I also use digital tools to support learning and meet the needs of today's learners.

I bring energy and discipline into the classroom. I also use physical activities and movement to encourage teamwork, perseverance, and a healthy lifestyle among learners. My academic journey has given me valuable knowledge and skills in classroom management, teaching approaches and strategies, curriculum development, and curriculum design.

My experience in teaching practice has shown me that theory and practice are different and that both need to be studied and developed further. This has made me realise how important it is to help learners connect what they learn in the classroom with real-life experiences.
