I'm a science writer residing in the Lone Star State. Originally from El Paso, Texas, I studied anthropology and multimedia journalism at The University of Texas at Austin, where I got hooked on science reporting -- a subject I find both fascinating and stimulating.
My work has appeared in Science Magazine, The Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal and in other news outlets. I currently work at The University of Texas at El Paso creating press releases and news stories focused on science and engineering.
