While living abroad, working as a Brazilian journalist for the Deutsche Welle, in Germany, my daily routine was to explain Brazil, or what happened in Brazil, to an international audience. With my friends, coming from different countries, I spent many hours talking about our music, language, food, beaches, forests, corruption cases and violence. Now it is time to skip the language keeping the subject: to write about Brazil from Brazil in English.

At my humble blog (IamfromBrazil.wordpress.com) I want to use pictures, real stories, history and data to talk about Brazil with those who can´t properly understand Portuguese and are willing to understand my English.
