Nadine Eiring has spent more than 25 years working on behalf of children in New York City and the surrounding region. Her career began as a public school teacher in Astoria, Queens, where she drew on a BA in education to instruct students who had been diagnosed with autism. During this time, Nadine Eiring also pursued graduate studies at New York University (NYU). Attending NYU on an academic scholarship, she went on to earn an MS in social work.

After spending several years serving in management roles at social services agencies, Nadine Eiring resumed her education in 2000 at Baruch College. In the same year, she accepted a position as executive director at West Hills Montessori School. There, she maintained leadership duties, including developing the school’s vision and philosophy.

Ms. Eiring subsequently assumed responsibilities as a principal, first of the Personal Touch Early Intervention Program, and later of the Children’s Center for Early Learning. Her leadership of these programs coincided with her completing her studies at Baruch, which awarded her an MPA in 2002 and an MS in education in 2003.

In the time since, Nadine Eiring has directed an office of the New York City Department of Education (NYCDOE), served as both director and assistant to the superintendent of Plainview-Old Bethpage Central School District, and oversaw operations at Gersh Academy. Currently the clinical director of a Long Island preschool, Ms. Eiring is also under consideration for a principal post with the NYCDOE.
