Nadira Norris

Hi, my name is Nadira Norris and I would like to take this opportunity to briefly introduce myself.

I was born in Montreal, Quebec and moved to Toronto with my family when I was three years old. I attended Bridlewood Junior Public School and later moved on and graduated from Agincourt Collegiate Institute. Throughout my whole child and teen years I was a very enthusiastic student who played numerous sports along with performing arts. I have been very privileged to have learned two languages, English and Sign Language.

I have a beautiful six year old daughter who I love very much and she is my inspiration along with my mother, my husband and foremost God. Having my daughter made me realize that being a mother makes my life complete. In the short time of being a mother I have come to the realization that I have a passion for children and would like to become a tacher for the deaf and hard of hearing children. My goal is to show the children that with a hearing loss, they can conquer anything they want. I want to have a positive impact in others’ lives. I want to wake up every morning feeling proud and good about myself because of the accomplishment that I made will continue to make.

Sincerely,

Nadira Norris – Charles
