Nadir Lahmeur

Nadir Lahmeur is a global business leader with more than 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare packaging industries. Based in the United States, he has managed markets across the Americas while working closely with manufacturing sites in Europe and Asia. As General Manager, Americas for SGD Pharma, he directed operations in North America and Latin America, with Mexico and Brazil as key markets. During his tenure, regional revenues grew nearly fourfold, supported by transformation, innovation, and market expansion.
He moved to Canada to study at McGill University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1994. That same year, he began his career at Valois of America, now part of Aptar Pharma, where he served as both Project Development Manager and Technical Sales Engineer. In this role, he collaborated with major pharmaceutical companies to introduce nasal spray pumps and aerosol delivery systems, guiding the development of complex products from clinical trials to full commercialization. He served as a vital link between European engineering teams and U.S. clients, ensuring alignment with regulatory and operational needs.
In 1997, he joined SGD Pharma, where he advanced through senior positions over nearly three decades. As Director of Sales for North America, he achieved six consecutive years of double-digit revenue growth and expanded into new market segments. Later, as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Americas, he doubled regional revenues while strengthening supply chains and customer relationships. In 2016, he became General Manager of the Americas, creating a new U.S. corporate entity and commercial infrastructure. He also expanded operations in Brazil, secured significant investment, and guided the business through the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, he led the launch of a beauty division, building strategy and leadership for successful entry.
He has completed executive training in operations, management, and finance, including Financial Accounting through Harvard Business School's Online Program. He also contributed to PDA Technical Report 43 on pharmaceutical glass defects. Alongside his career, he supports charitable causes in the United States, Morocco, and the Caribbean, while also contributing to cultural institutions in New York. A lifelong tennis player, he values the focus and resilience that the sport has instilled in him.
