Naeemah Staggs, MHS provides training and consulting services for a wide variety of children, youth and family organizations.
Mrs. Staggs has over ten years of experience in training, technical assistance and program management. Her experience spans several human service fields, including mental health, substance abuse, child welfare and early care and education. Mrs. Staggs has served a project leadership for several Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) technical assitance contracts. As Project Manager, Mrs. Staggs managed teams that provided training and technical assistance to a number of State, Tribal and local grantees. She has also conducted numerous site visits for TA and evaluation. As a licensed Addictions Counselor, Mrs. Staggs has also worked as a Case Manager and Counselor for women in substance abuse treatment and transitional housing. Mrs. Staggs began her career as a preschool teacher and has several years of experience training professionals in the ECE field. Additionally, Mrs. Staggs has several years of experience working with Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) programs as well as other child welfare organizations.
Mrs. Staggs has a Bachelor’s degree in Family Studies and a Master of Human Services degree. Mrs. Stagg’s expertise lies in working with or on the behalf of marginalized and at-risk populations, including persons of color, Native American communities, childeren in foster care, families experiencing homelessness and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) youth.
