Naeem Firoz

Naeem Firoz earned a Bachelor’s in Architecture from the National College of Arts Lahore in Pakistan. After earning his degree, he served as a real estate architect for Pakistan Environment Planning and Architectural Consultants (PEPAC) in Lahore. PEPAC was incorporated in 1974 to provide architectural consultancy and planning services for projects initiated by the government and by semi-governmental and autonomous entities. In his role as an architect with PEPAC, Naeem Firoz held a wide range of responsibilities, such as facilitating client meetings, finding design solutions, and resolving day-to-day construction issues on site. He worked on several significant projects, including the Frontier House, Islamabad and Ayub Medical College in Abbotabad. Naeem Firoz maintains memberships in professional organizations, including the American Planning Association and the Institute of Architects, Pakistan. Since moving to the United States, Naeem Firoz has been active in his community, volunteering his time to Meals on Wheels Association of America programs and presenting cultural slide shows at community events and in homes for elderly individuals. Naeem Firoz also actively supports the March of Dimes Foundation, which aims to prevent premature birth, birth defects, and infant mortality. Naeem Firoz is a talented photographer, pursuing architectural photography as well as landscape and portrait photography. He also enjoys traveling, architectural model-making, and collecting antique stamps and coins. An avid reader, Naeem Firoz cites the historians Will and Ariel Durant among his favorite authors, and their The Lessons of History as his favorite book.
