Nafees Mansoor

Hello there!!! Thanks a lot for stopping by 🙂 I’m Nafees, serving as an Associate Professor in the CSE Dept. at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) and a Senior Member of IEEE. I joined ULAB in January 2016, just after finishing my Ph.D. from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Earlier, I received a BSc degree in Computer Science and an MSc degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB). I have more than 10 years of work experience both in academia and industry where I worked at reputed national and international organizations. Being an active researcher, I am the recipient of several awards which includes best paper awards at ICAICT 2016 (Bangladesh), RISP-NCCP 2015 (Malaysia), AUN/SEED-Net ICEEE 2014 (Malaysia), and MJJIS 2013 (Japan). He also received the Best Research Proposal Award at JACTIM Research Proposal Contest, 2012 in Malaysia. Moreover, I was also honored as Cum Laude at his Bachelor of Science degree.

To date, I have published a satisfying number of research articles in various reputed journals and international conferences. My research interests mostly cover Wireless Communications, Cognitive Radio Networks, and Network Protocols & Standards. I was also part of the organizing and technical committees of various international conferences. Besides, I am also an associate editor of IEEE Access®, an award-winning, multidisciplinary journal.favorite,

I maintain a personal website (www.nafees.info) that consists information regarding my research (Publications, Research Updates, etc). a Blog (most of the posts are on different technical issues of modern days), some important urls and things of my personal interest (mostly music and sports).

The Social Web as implemented by Facebook is my favourite medium of interaction, I'm also using Twitter (not extensively), and LinkedIn (once in a while).
