Nagabhushan Guddadamath

Nagabhushan.S. Guddadamath, a young tabla genius from Dharwad, is making rapid strides both as accompanist and solo performer. Born on 9th January 1987 in Karwar. Nagabhushan was initiated into the rhythmic realm of tabla at a tender of 7 by none other than his own father. His father Pt Shadaksharayya Guddadamath , a distinguished disciple of Lt. Mammulal Salgaunkar, is himself an accomplished Tablaist. Nagabhushan was also trained under his uncle Dr. Rachayya Hiremath who is currently working as Assistant Professor in the University College of Music, Dharwad. Noted Tablaists Pt. Ramdas Palasule of Pune and Pt. Kishorlal Mishra of Varanasi & Pt.Sripad Atle too are importing their invaluable guidance to him. Besides, Nagabhushan is indebted to his seniors Dr. Kiran

Already an approved artist of All India Radio Dharwad, Nagabhushan has made his mark in a number of public performances. He has to his credit a long list of scholarships and prizes for his glittering performance at State level as well as at National level.
