Nagesh Ojha

Holding a Master’s degree in History and M. Phil. in International Relations with a focus on ‘National Security Strategy of the United States and Russia’; I am pursuing my Ph.D. in International Relations, where the focus is on the ’Energy Security’. My research mainly focuses on the ‘Role of Energy in the Foreign Policy Behavior of Major Oil and Gas Producing States’.

My current research is focused on the Russian and Eurasian energy markets and its geopolitics at the Center for Russian & Central Asian Studies, School of International Studies, at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. I have presented many papers in various national and International conferences. Most recently, I presented my research paper “Russian Energy: Breaking the Ice” that was selected for thelXWorld Congress of the International Council for Central & East European Studies in Makuhari, Japan. Along with lectures and scholarly writings, I love to participate in Tv discussions and write commentaries in the newspapers and magazines as well.
