Ali Naghibi

I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Department of Civil Engineering, University of British Columbia. My current research project focuses on estimating effectiveness of Ensemble Streamflow Prediction (ESP) forecasts in real-time reservoir operation. Here, I integrate my research background in optimal decision techniques under uncertainty and numerical modelling of environmental systems with my professional experience in reservoir planning and operation.

My primary interests include water resources planning and management, environmental systtems analysis, uncertainty and risk in hydrosystems, optimization and decision-making techniques, and numerical modelling of hydrotechnical and environmental systems.
