I’ve learned to see problems as opportunities, opportunities to solve them effectively. I approach all problems with design thinking techniques and enjoy working with teams.

Currently, I’m working tirelessly to provide a solution to tackle the increased rate of unemployment and underemployment in Nigeria. Nigeria currently has a combined unemployment and underemployment rate of 55.7%. Surprisingly, youths between 15-34 years are significant in this rate and a high number of them have pivoted to committing cybercrimes. In 2018 alone, Nigeria lost $800M to cybercrimes. This prompted me to start working on a platform to promote entrepreneurship called Motivato. This is a social platform that would help connect mentees to potential mentors to help them in shaping and advancing their careers. The platform is aimed at impacting African youths by connecting them to the mentors within their areas of interest regardless of their location. Motivato would bring about a reduced rate of cybercriminals in Nigeria, an increased number of business owners, and an increased employment rate. We are currently in the idea validation phase in the YC Build Sprint.
