Naida Lynn

Naida Lynn is a singer/songwriter of Haitian descent whose music expresses the complexities of her multi-cultural, South Floridian life. Her musical style can be described as indie-pop, neo-soul with a strong Caribbean influence. Naida’s musical influences are diverse ranging from Out of Eden and Warren Barfield to Haitian-Creole hymnals with upbeat tempos and an emphasis on West-African drumming patterns, and electric guitars.

She has grown from a young dreamer, playing for whoever would listen, to being a sought-out artist & songwriter, performing before hundreds of cheering fans. Her performance at a house music concert in 2012 catapulted her songwriting and subsequently her music career to a new level. The doors just kept opening.

In 2013, Naida took part in a Christian talent Search called UDECIDE, and made it to the finale, performing in front of hundreds of people an original song she wrote titled “What it Means to Trust.” Then Naida was selected to write and perform an original song before thousands of eager graduates of Florida Career College as well as their family members in the BB&T Center Stadium. 2013 was also the year where Naida made her first guest appearance on TV (Caribbean Station 5 Sur 5) as well as on FM radio (NSU’s Radio X) each sharing her songs and the uplifting message behind them.

Anyone who gets close enough to Naida will find that she loves life. For her, it’s a growing adventure walking hand in hand with dream & reality. You can be sure that as she pursues her musical dreams, her openness, curiosity, and creativity will use every aspect of her life to bring a wealth of new music that will inspire her listeners. Hope continues to rise up in her songs and, as we listen to them, in our hearts.
