For more than 3 years, Najee Pringle has been delivering James Hillhouse High School's morning Newscast House News and he's always made a goal that one day he will be an on air TV Personality ______________________________________ In August 2008, Najee remembers sitting down watching Tv with nothing else fun to do, and saying to himself that he wants to watch something important. So he turned the Channel to WTNH Tv (CH.8) and that's when his passion for television grew. "The first News Anchors I remember seeing were Keith Kountz and Jocelyn Maminta, during the 5:30pm newscast. I enjoyed the way they informed me on the latest news and the way they adjust their posture. That's when I realize Wow this job is the perfect job for me". Prior to that, on May 18th,2009 Najee met his role model from WTNH morning show "Good Morning Connecticut" Desiree Fontaine! As soon as Mrs.Fontaine walked in the door for the 8th grade career day, Najee Was very surprised and happy to see her! He tells us that she was the only person at that time who actually cared about his career choice. "Don't listen to what anyone has to say negative about you, you are very special, and with that awesome personality you have, one day you'll be an amazing broadcaster" Desiree Fontaine said to him as he got very emotional. Najee thanks Desiree Fontaine for inspiring him to be the man that he is now! _______________________________________ On November 2012, the day after Barack Obama was voted back into office, Najee Pringle won the title Mr. Hillhouse 2012-2013! With the help of his amazing friends/supporters, his sister Armani, and his Cousin Kenneth Reddick, Najee stayed strong about him getting elected for Mr.Hillhouse.
