Najib Tun Razak's Promises
- A highway, a spanking new stadium and an end to the people's water woes.
- Najib pledged that Barisan would build a highway linking Kuala Krai and Kota Baru, build a spanking new stadium and resolve the people's water woes if it is given the mandate to rule the state.
- Barisan will also build 3,000 houses under its people-friendly housing scheme, set up a Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) campus for 5,000 students, start a Rapid Kota Baru bus service and build a 50-million ringgit (US$16.58-million) mosque that will be the biggest in Kelantan.
- Promised to present two big gifts to the people of Penang under a Barisan Nasional (BN) state government after the next general election — 20,000 units of affordable homes and a monorail service.
